NZJSBA will adopt and run to the 2025 IJSBA Rulebook (surpassing the 2023 Rulebook which has been used for the past 2 seasons)

The NZJSBA has adopted the 2025 IJSBA Competition Rulebook for the 2025/26 season and will be in affect until further notice along with the current NZJSBA Supplementary Regulations.(updated).

Please ensure you familiarise yourself with all rules and regulations.

Updated to the following (Clarifies the Exhaust rule)

The following criteria is in addition to and overrides the displacement criteria as defined under the

Ski Grand Prix class ruleset.

For any ski craft equipped with a four stroke engine above 1100cc (incl. when utilized in an

aftermarket hull) the engine (incl. intake, and ignition) must conform to the currently

adopted IJSBA Ski Stock ruleset.

The maximum displacement for any craft equipped with a four-stroke engine, and are also equipped with a supercharger or turbocharger, is 900cc. These craft MUST have an approved device to release all boost pressure above 8psi..

NEW  Exhaust system (i.e.,  connecting pipes, hoses, muffler(s), etc.) may be modified or aftermarket. Exhaust Manifold must remain stock .Through-hull exhaust may be modified or aftermarket, providing a hazard is not created.

 No tuned portion of the exhaust system may protrude outside of the hull. Exit location of the exhaust gases may be relocated to the transom below the bond flange
