New Medical Self-Declarations and Privacy Policy for the upcoming Season

NZJSBA is introducing mandatory medical self-declaration forms as part of the race licence application process for the new season, beginning 1 November 2026.

The forms help identify medical conditions or other information relevant to safe participation and emergency care. Riders will need to complete the required declaration as part of their licence application, provide accurate information and advise of any significant changes that may affect their safe participation.

To support this new process, NZJSBA has also introduced a Member Medical Information Privacy Policy, effective from 1 November 2026. This explains how medical and emergency information is collected, used, stored and shared, who may access it, and when it may be needed for emergency treatment.

The policy also covers injury reporting, medical clearances, confidentiality and social media, with clear responsibilities for NZJSBA, affiliated clubs, event personnel and members.

We encourage all riders, parents and guardians, club committees and officials to familiarise themselves with the new declaration requirements and read the full privacy policy below.
