It is with deep sadness that we confirm the cancellation of the 2022 New Zealand Jet Sport Nationals event at Lake Karapiro on the 19th and 20th March 2022.
This is not a decision that was taken lightly, and there are many contributing factors, but the crux of it is that we are unable to run a viable and successful event in the current climate. This is the first time in the history of the New Zealand Jet Sports Boating Associations’ history that we have had to cancel the Nationals event and is such a very sad time.
We trust you all will understand and we look for to the Nationals being back as the pinnacle event in the 2022/23 season calendar.
