Great news to all the parents that have been wanting to get their kids into jetski racing.
We now have a junior development program up and running, This has taken a bit of time and we can all thank the great effort from the Canterbury Jet Sports Club and the NZJSBA committee.
Junior Development ClassThe class which is open to 10-15 year olds has some very strict guide lines and rules which must be adhered to at all times.
For those of you wanting more information in regard to this class and the requirements that must be meet before you get on the water please contact your club president or our junior development class contact, Terry Lemon via email terrylemon@xtra.co.nz or call him directly on 021717712, he will supply you with all the relevant information you will require.
It is important you have all the correct information before getting on the water as there will be very harsh penalties that may result. These are a directive from maritime NZ and the local harbor masters, as we are sure you are all aware that it is illegal for any persons under 15 years old to be in direct control of a powered vessel capable of more than 5 knots.
